The Oberon Class Dreadnought is the single largest vessel in the Mrrshan Navy, with, perhaps the exception of the Emporer's Flagship. It is the culmination of Mrrshan bio-engineering, and Mrrshan Mechanical engineering. It is also, currently, one of the only classes to stock Stellar converters as a standard weapon, however, it does so by sacrificing Gauss cannons. Because the advances in Mrrshan power generation and Megafluxer technology happened relatively recently, there are only 4 vessels that have currently been outfitted with the Stellar converter cannons, thanks to hard work in the Klackon shipyards. Also, because the advances in Bio-engineering occurred only 10 years ago, only a few of the vessels exist, after having undergone extreme genetic structure augmentation. Of some 300 vessels, only 80 survived the augmentation without terrible side effects, ranging from extreme paranoid schizophrenia to complete genetic structure destabilization. Facing destruction, some of these vessels escaped, and still roam spacelanes today.

Now, however, the newest generation of Organic ships have been upgraded with this genome, so more can be grown, but it will take some time, upwards of 15 or 20 years for the new vessels to reach Dreadnought Maturity.
